Our events and meetups bring local parents, nannies, and caregivers together for easygoing outdoor mornings across the North Shore. From loose storytimes and nature walks to casual conversations on a picnic blanket, these gatherings are built to give adults a supportive village and littles the freedom to play, wander, and explore at their own pace.
Diaper Bag Brigade
Pack the bag, meet friends, and explore! Join other caregivers for a casual morning hangout with passive activities to entertain all ages. The Diaper Bag Brigade series was born out of a need to build community among the North Shore nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone caring for littles. Plus it gives us all an excuse to try new places and stretches our imagination for doing new things. From newborns through preschoolers, and everything in between, we want the snack time meltdowns, the mission driven walkers, the open mouth nappers... in your carrier, on a blanket, or running up the slide. Whether your child sits for story-time or wanders off, needs a quick snack break or leads the way, this space is flexible and for you!
Every meetup is loosely structured and largely adaptable to the changing group needs. Depending on the monthly location and theme, you can expect anything from sitting on a picnic blanket, to riding bikes under an airplane wing, to meeting a real farmer, or decorating a group rainbow with sparkles and leaves..

SEPTEMBER MEETUP: Transitions
September is a month of big shifts, from changing leaves to new schedules and evolving routines. Throughout this three week series, we’ll explore the idea of Transitions in whatever way fits the morning. That might mean themed books on a blanket, a sensory activity or craft, a conversation prompt for the adults, or we might simply practice navigating transitions together as we wander through the park. Come as you are, follow your little one’s lead, and take what serves you each week!
