  • Job Description:

    This family is seeking a nanny for two playful brothers who love adventures, creative play, and a steady routine. They’re a fun family looking for someone who can dive into whatever imaginative outdoor play the boys dream up. You’ll handle school pickups, snacks, and keep things running smoothly day to day. CPR/First Aid certification (EpiPen administration included) and great communication with work-from-home parents are key. If you value inclusivity, set healthy boundaries, and love being in the mix with active kids, you’ll fit right in!

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide engaging/attentive care and create a safe/nurturing environment.

    • Maintain a consistent daily routine, including naps, meals/snacks, and play.

    • Keep common spaces clean after using them

    • Keep open, thoughtful communication with parents - with scheduled check ins at 30, 60 and 90 days.

    • Willingness to participate in light household chores like tidying, laundry, organization, dishes and/or meal prep when children are napping or away from the house (play dates or with grandparents).

    • Use either personal or family car to pick kids up from their school days

    • Maintain two kids schedules, with the possibility of afterschool groups/clubs/sports/etc. being added later in the year

    • Administer CPR/first aid and respond to emergencies when necessary (including confidence in administering an EpiPen in case of an allergy emergency)

    Schedule:

    • Monday-Wednesday 12:00-5:00 and Thursday 8:00-5:00

      • 24 hours/week as a starting point. Willing to go up to 30 hours/week for the right fit.

    • Boxford MA- Both parents works from home, but they are fairly removed

    • Occasional opportunities for additional hours if available and agreed upon ahead of time.

    Qualifications:

    • A warm, playful personality

    • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

    • Valid driver’s license (family car can be provided for use)

    • Comfort with dogs, cats, and chickens (no pet care responsibilities)

    • Reliable and punctual

    • Openness to working in a household that values inclusivity and positive discipline

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • $25 - $28/hr

    • 5 Guaranteed Hours per week in addition to paid government holidays that fall on a scheduled work day

    • 5 Vacation/Sick days per Start date (December) to mid-June; reflecting the temporary position dates.
