Job Description:
The Frosts are kind, communicative, and thoughtful parents who value calm, connection-centered care. This is a part-time position on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, starting July. Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing, attentive infant care Wednesday through Friday, 8:00-4:00 each day
Plan and engage in outdoor play and nature-based activities
Read daily and support early literacy
Maintain feeding, napping, and diapering and keep parents informed of activities/routines throughout the day
Track developmental milestones and communicate progress with parents
Light tidying related to the children (cleaning bottles, baby laundry, toy cleanup)
Use of nanny’s own vehicle for any outings or transportation needs
Schedule:
Start in July
Weekly Wednesdays–Fridays | 8:00am–4:00pm (with some flexibility)
Occasional/Rare evenings, weekends (not required, but nice to have)

At least 2 years of professional childcare and/or nanny experience
Reliable personal vehicle and clean driving record

This family is seeking a kind, reliable, and engaging part-time nanny to help balance the kids moving schedules with light house work. With three young kids and the potential to grow with more, this position requires a proactive and energetic caregiver who can focus first on fun and second on “being tidy”. However, when the kids are taken care of (either napping or at the pool with their family), this role can shift towards light housekeeping and support the family in the kids' laundry rotations, simple errands, etc.
The parents are warm, hands-on parents who value family time, fresh air, and educational play. The Family’s strong support system of extended family nearby, means they are seeking a caregiver who can become an integral part of their village. With three young children on different schedules, they hope to find someone who can help provide individual attention to each child and maintain a calm, nurturing routine. This role is for a down-on-the-floor caregiver ready to support the family in their dynamic needs!
Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties
Provide engaging, screen-free care that centers the child’s imagination and education.
Support children’s interests and curiosity through Montessori-aligned, child-led exploration where possible.
Pick up the kids from school on occasion.
Maintain a consistent daily routine, including naps, meals/snacks, and play.
Minimize screen time and refrain from personal phone use during work hours.
Maintain open communication with parents about the children's activities, needs, and development.
Administer CPR/first aid and respond to emergencies when necessary.
Light Housekeeping as needed:
When the need arises, be proactive in occasionally supporting the family with:
Kids Laundry: sorting, washing, folding, putting away, etc.
Light Tidying: keeping common areas, kitchen, and kid zones functional
Errands: Occasional post-office, etc., as needed
Schedule, Hours, & Location:
Northborough
Ideally 2–3 weekdays from approximately 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM (not Thursdays).
Occasional evening coverage for a date night would be a bonus but is not required.
The start date is flexible; the family prioritizes finding the right fit.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
Detail oriented communication skills for supporting the parents in maintaining the household duties
Confident managing routines independently and taking initiative where necessary
Prior experience caring for infants and young children
Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine love for children
Ability to maintain a consistent routine and set healthy boundaries
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle
CPR and First Aid certification
Nice to Have:
Experience co-parenting in a nanny setting
Background in the Early Childhood Education: Montessori philosophy a bonus
Comfort with dogs and cats
Flexibility to stay later and/or help out on date nights/weekends on occasion
Compensation:
$26/hr - $32/hr (based on experience)
8 Guaranteed Hours per week in addition to paid government holidays that fall on a scheduled work day
6 Vacation Days/year
3 Sick Days/year
