Job Description:

This family is seeking a part-time nanny who is confident in working with infants and can support developmental milestones, transitions to solids, and maintaining a safe environment with ease. This nanny will need to be comfortable working with an infant around their dog; a chocolate lab who has nothing but love and a big personality to share. Their vision is to have a nanny who will set up a loving and nurturing environment for their sweet baby boy. In doing so, they will know how to give this kiddo everything from indoor enrichments to outdoor adventures and everything in between. The perfect candidate will have in-depth experiences working with infants and is looking to be an integral part of their journey through schooling-days. If you love dog walks, beach days, and baby-cuddles, then you’ll fit right in!

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging & attentive infant care and create a safe & nurturing environment.

• Maintain a consistent daily routine, including naps, meals/snacks, and play.

• Create and follow an enriching schedule full of activities, play dates, outings, learning, etc. both in the home and out in the community.

• Keep common spaces clean after using them

  Keep open, thoughtful communication with parents

• Willingness to participate in light household chores like tidying, organizing, and baby laundry during nap time.

• Use either a personal or family car to bring their kid on outings/play dates/classes/etc.

• Administer CPR/first aid and respond to emergencies when necessary.

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Thursday (8:00-5:00) | 27 hours / week

• Beverly, MA- One parent works from home, but is fairly removed

• Occasional opportunities for additional hours if available and agreed upon ahead of time.

Qualifications:

• A warm, playful personality

• Openness to working in a household that values communication, honesty, routine, and a nurturing environment

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Comfort with dogs

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to pass a background check

Compensation and Benefits:

• $24 - $26/hr

• Guaranteed hours (up to 6 days per year) and Vacation/Sick days (up to 6 per year)

• Room for compensation package increases and/or adjustments after a review period
